FUTO/EAST IZU
FUTO is popular site is our recommendation for the best diving on the Izu Peninsula. There are two dive spots in Futo, which are both located in a large cove. From the shore point, even beginners can enjoy diving here. You can see a wide range of tropic fish in these waters, which migrate to the cover every year. From June to August, you have the chance to witness the squid eggs. Read more.

OCEANIC PARK/EAST IZU
IZU OCEANIC PARK is popular site is our recommendation for the best diving on the Izu Peninsula. The underwater geographical features here were created when Mount Omuroyama erupted, and lava flowed into the sea. The water here is absolutely teeming with sea life. Warm water is brought in by a warm current named 'Kuroshio', which flows up from the Pacific Ocean, past the Philippines. In the summertime the temperature reaches 25°C/77°F! The lowest temperature is 14°C/55°F. Read more. ​

YAWATANO/EAST IZU
YAWATANO is another dive site located in East Izu, not far from Izukougen Station. This coast is facing the north-east, so if conditions are choppy in the west near Futo Ocean Park, you can still find calm waters here. Many fish live in the shallow waters of this embankment, including plenty of horse mackerel. You don't have to travel far from the entry point before you start to see the underwater wildlife, so this is a great spot for beginners. ​Read more.​

WEST IZU DIVE SITE

OSEZAKI/WEST IZU
OSEZAKI has dramatic views both under and above water. People are drawn to the great underwater environment here in West Izu, and the commanding view of Mount Fuji. There are many dive sites accessible from the shore: in the bay, outside the bay and at the cape. PADI dive training courses are popular here, as well as refreshment courses and Discover Scuba Diving experiences. In the bay, you can a see a small shrine, a sunken ship, a Venus statue and even a motorcycle, all underwater! Read more.

ITA/WEST IZU
ITA is popular site is our recommendation for the best diving on the West Izu Peninsula. Ida is a small village located between Osezaki and Toda. About 20 years ago, this shore diving site was discovered and has since become a popular dive point. The water is extremely clear since it faces the open ocean, with good bottom contours and abundant fish life. Read more.

TOI/WEST IZU
TOI is very popular spot for people who are interested in ship-wreck diving. There are many dive sites in the bay, that feature shipwreck, and a few on the outside too. there three different shipwreck most small one 20m depth, the middle size 25m depth, and large tanker ship around 35m depth, this location boasts huge biodiversity including soft corals, sea sponges, fishes, crabs and nudibranchs. There are various routes we can take depending on your skill level and many interesting underwater features along the way. Read more.

KOGANEZAKI/WEST IZU
KOGANEZAKI is popular site is our recommendation for the best diving on the West Izu Peninsula.  Koganezaki is located within a national park in West Izu Japan. It is well known for a vivid golden color reflected off the cliffs at sunset. This shore diving site is good for beginners and muck-diver enthusiasts. If you enter from the shore, the depth increases gradually so you can relax if you're a beginner. There are many small fish hiding amongst the rocks, including frog fish and colorful pennant coral fish. Read more.

Odawara Station can be reached on foot in around ten minutes from this lodging. The East Dive tie-up facility Guest House is close to our diving shop, many restaurants, and an onsen. 
For those who would like to travel alone or participate in any interesting dives or courses, the Guest House is highly recommended. There are separate male and woman's dorm rooms on the first floor. as well as private rooms with double beds on the second floor and family-sized rooms available, the third-floor area is open to guests 24 hours a day. There's a bar and cafe there with plenty of drinks, you are welcome to relax and enjoy yourself at the rooftop area. Barbecue is available as well.

What kinds of underwater life can you see on the Izu Peninsula?

​Izu is the best choice if you're looking for a dive spot that offers beautiful underwater scenery and wildlife, Izu offers a wide variety of fish to observe on the South Pacific coast. Tropical fish arrive on the warm Kuroshio Current. Thousands of species of fish and crustaceans can be seen right before your eyes, but this gallery shows some of them in photos. Diving operations from Atami Station to the Izu Peninsula go on daily.

Our dive staff determines the daily dive points based on the state of the ocean and the ability level of our guests.

​​On your diving trip, a PADI instructor who speaks English will be there (Dives Staff are speaking English, French, and Japanese,) If you're a sola diver, don't worry—we can pair you up with a diving buddy. Please complete the form in order to make a reservation. In order to inquire about the program, feel free to contact us, etc., prior to making a reservation.

  • Diver Certification bring it on the day any diving organization (SSI, BSAC, CMAS, NAUI) are also welcome.
  • If you book 2days or more, we can arrange dive sites in completely different locations each day. 
  • Towel, Sandals, Swimwear, inner Layers,
  • Logbook (if you have one) ​
  • Rental equipment sizes are limited. If you are over 195 cm tall, heavier than 120 kilos or have feet larger than 30 cm, please contact us.
  • Prescription masks are not available for rental. Please contact us to purchase a prescription mask​.
  • Participants under the age of 18 need a signature of a parent or guardian.
  • After confirming a reservation, kindly finish the payment within three days. The payment deadline is the day following the application date if the dive schedule is within a week. You can pay online with a credit card or by bank transfer.​ (Payments cannot be made on the day of the dive. )​
