How we're keeping the diving rental equipment clean:
​

All of the equipment, including masks, snorkels, fins, regulator, octopus, gauge, BCD are cleaned after each use. This applies to all diving courses and tours. At East Dive we adhere to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness protocols.
  • Guests can see that all masks are placed in sanitization solution and liquid detergent.
  • After diving, wetsuits, fins, BCD jackets, and regulator sets are taken back to dive center by guests and placed in sanitization solution.

How we're keeping the pick-up vehicle clean:

East Dive provides a transfer service for all guests. Every time the pick-up vehicle is used, we'll be cleaning and disinfecting the interior to help protect against the corona virus. We ask that you help us by opening the car windows so that we can make sure the vehicle is properly ventilated.
We have reduced the number of guests transported in every type of vehicle to ensure proper social distancing.  Thank you for your cooperation during this time.

Please take a look at the following updates to our health and safety information, so that you can continue to enjoy diving safely in this difficult time.

  • If you are feeling unwell, you unfortunately will not be able to dive that day.
  • Please keep an eye on your health and be aware of your physical condition. (We will be providing thermometers at the meeting point at Atami and confirming that participants' body temperatures are in a healthy range.)

​If you are showing any of the following symptoms, you will not be able to dive:
  • cold or flu symptoms (sneezing, coughing, etc.)
  • a fever of 37.5°C/99.5°F or more
  • feeling fatigued/extremely tired or having trouble breathing
  • chest pain

We also ask that you refrain from diving if you have experience any of the following:
  • Influenza, norovirus (stomach flu), etc. in the past seven days.
  • Any symptoms of a possible corona virus infection.
  • A family member or someone you know has been infected with corona virus.
  • ​You have visited an area with a high number of corona virus cases.
  • If you have visited a country which requires a 14 day quarantine or observation period, or if you have been in close contact with anyone who have visited those regions.​
