Both shore and boat dives are available, as well as transport to a great number of excellent dive sites. We can recommend the best spot for you, based upon your experience level and the ocean conditions. All the guides here at East Dive are licensed PADI Instructors who have multiple years of exploring these dive spots under their belts and are happy to share their local knowledge with you.

Mikomoto is located at the southernmost point of the Izu peninsula. You can do some real drift diving at Mikomoto, where there is a strong flowing current. A wide range of Various big things can be seen here, including occasionally sea turtles and hammerhead sharks. The hammerheads usually arrive around summer every year. As they roam around the island often appear in great numbers. If you are lucky, you can swim along with them. We call this the "Hammer River". At Mikomoto the dive boat has a lift-style exit which makes it very easy to enter and exit the water. Three divers can be pulled up at once.
Mikomoto is truly an exciting location but be aware that this dive tour isn't for beginner divers. You need to have a good level of experience. You need to have logged at least over 30 logged dives and hold an Advanced Open Water Diver Certification. You also need to know how to deploy an SMB (DSMB).

Kumomi is very popular spot for people who are interested in cave diving. There are many dive sites in the bay that feature caves, and a few on the outside too. The dive boats here are equipped with a life-style exit, which means that three divers can be pulled up at once. Not bad! Not only are the boats are comfortable, the water is exceptionally warm. There are hidden gem dives available at Mikomoto, Nakagi (Hirizo), and Kumomi locations. Mikomoto is the primary location, but we will proceed to the other two objective places if the strait conditions are poor or it is closed that day. If you are unlikely to visit Mikomoto, you are unable to cancel. because the other two locations allow you to dive. Mikomoto always has priority, however as previously stated, please be aware that things could change. Do not apply if you are merely planning to attend Mikomoto. There are no assurances because it is natural.

- Dive time is 40 minutes each, including safety stops.
- The tank is a 10L aluminum tank. And there is no nitrox.
- You must be able to gear up by yourself without assistance.
- You must be able to descend and ascend without assistance.
- A dive computer and SMB are required.
- If you have not dived for more than a year, please do a check dive beforehand.
- This is basically a drift dive, so please refrain from doing it if you are not confident.

All dives are with PADI Instructor. On your course, a PADI instructor who speaks English will be there (Dives Staff are speaking Japanese, English, French, and Portuguese) If you're a lone diver, don't worry—we can pair you up with a diving buddy .
