Welcome to Diving in Izu
Izu is the best choice if you're looking for a dive spot that offers beautiful underwater scenery and wildlife, without having to travel far away from Tokyo. It's a popular spot for divers based in Tokyo and sees lots of visitors on weekends and weekdays throughout the year. Both shore and boat dives are available, as well as transport to a great number of excellent dive sites. We can recommend the best spot for you, based upon your experience level and the ocean conditions. 　All the guides here at East Dive are licensed PADI Instructors who have multiple years of exploring these dive spots under their belts and are happy to share their local knowledge with you.

Hatsushima is an island close to Tokyo that takes about 25 minutes to reach from Atami port. This popular tourist spot is home to about 300 people. In the summertime, countless toruists travel here by ferry to enjoy the local seafood delicacies. However, we would recommend this spot for ant time of year. This is the place for a diver who enjoys travel and island diving.
Futatune is the main dive point here, and it has a magnificent array of underwater wildlife. As well as the coral and tropical fish, see if you can find the small underwater structure here called "Daiwa House". Also, spot the horse mackerel and yellow striped butter fish that might appear on your plate later in the evening. There's fresh fish available in all the restaurants in the island. Out recommendation is the rice bowl with cuttlefish sashimi. Enjoy diving and Japanese cuisine together!

Every day, diving operations to the Izu Peninsula depart from Atami Station.
Please use our website's booking form to submit your scheduling request. Later, we will respond with a confirmation of your reservation. Since the event is held every day, there is no schedule posted. Tell us about your ideal timetable, please.
Our dive staff determines the daily dive points based on the state of the ocean and the ability level of our guests.

Day trip Schedules

07:50 am Meet at the Atami Station exit.
08:00 am Departure.
08:10 am Arrive Atami Harbor.
08:40 am Departure from Atami Harbor.
09:05 am Arrive at Hatsushima Island.
10:30 am First dive.
12:00 pm Lunch time.
13:30 pm Second Dive.
15:00 pm Gear's pack up.
15:20 pm Leave from Dive site.
16:00 pm Arrive at Atami station.

All dives are with PADI Instructor.
On your course, a PADI instructor who speaks English will be there (Dives Staff are speaking Japanese, English, French, and Portuguese) If you're a lone diver, don't worry—we can pair you up with a diving buddy . Please complete the reservation form in order to make a reservation. In order to inquire about the program, feel free to contact us, etc., prior to making a reservation.

Diver Certification bring it on the day any diving organization (SSI, BSAC, CMAS, NAUI) are also welcome.
Island dives Minimum 2Divers.
If you book 2days or more, we can arrange dive sites in completely different locations each day.

Rental equipment sizes are limited. If you are over 195 cm tall, heavier than 110 kilos or have feet larger than 30 cm, please contact us.
Prescription masks are not available for rental. Please contact us to purchase a prescription mask.
Participants under the age of 18 need a signature of a parent or guardian.

After confirming a reservation, kindly finish the payment within three days. The payment deadline is the day following the application date if the dive schedule is within a week. You can pay online with a credit card or by bank transfer. (Payments cannot be made on the day of the dive. )
