PADI Open Water Diver Certification Course
The open water diver course has three parts: Knowledge Development Online, Confined Water Pool Session and Open Water Training Dives. Students must learn on their own using digital teaching materials (PADI eLearning) to understand diving theory, concepts and terms necessary to safely enjoy diving. Short exercises, quizzes, knowledge reviews and a final exam will help you assess and confirm learning as you go.
The confined water pool session will introduce all the diving skills necessary to be a confident diver. You will enjoy making one or more mini dives, introducing the same steps you follow when diving in the ocean. The open water dives are spread out over two days. Skills learned in the pool are reinforced in an ocean environment. This portion of the course can be scheduled over a full weekend or any week day.

Underwater training dives
This popular site is our recommendation for the best diving on the Izu Peninsula. There are two dive spots in Futo, which are both located in a large cove. From the beach point, even beginners can enjoy diving here.
You can see a wide range of tropic fish in these waters, which migrate to the cover every year. From June to August you have the chance to witness the squid eggs spawning.
